Company Overview
COMET GROUP founded in 1994. Started as a motor manufacturer for business and home electronics products. This quickly LED to becoming an OEM manufacturer for branded home electronics. In 1997 Comet Group started to develop and market products under their own name. By 2000, Comet has become the #1 shredder brand in the Pacific Rim and China, with annual sales currently exceeding $35MM.
In 2000 Comet expanded their product line into time clocks and binding machines. In 2002 Comet expanded again, this time into ABS brake systems where the annual sales volume exceeds $10MM per year. In 2004 Comet Group entered the US market as an OEM supplier and developed a new product line using biometric finger print technology. In 2005 Comet's growth continued with the start of Comet Chemicals.
