Nippon Steel Trading Co., Ltd. was established in 1977 as the trading arm of Nippon Steel Corporation. With the powerful corporate backing of Nippon Steel Corporation and its group companies, Nippon Steel Trading Co., Ltd. has since expanded its trading activities primarily in steel products, and has been lauded by its business partners for its expertise and reliability.
In April 2001, Nippon Steel Trading together with a number of its affiliate oompanies was awarded the ISO 14001 certifioation. The Nippon Steel Trading group of companies will continue to pursue registration to ISO standards, and expand business with a focus on the use of environmentally-friendly products within the Nippon Steel group. Through our corporate activities, it is our aim to make a contribution to the realization of a society oriented towards recycling.
