China United Rubber (Group) Corporation

China United Rubber (Group) Corporation (short as CURC) is an economic entity established in 1993, evolved from the former Rubber Department of Chinese Ministry of Chemical Industry after the governmental organization reform. The corporation was jointly set up by more than 80 large and medium-sized rubber processing factory, raw materials factory, equipment factory and rubber industry research institutes. It has more than 10 subsidiaries and represents all the group members for joint operation. It is also the consulting agency of rubber industry for Chinese government.

CURC has involved in the production, research and trade of various rubber products, raw materials and equipment for rubber industry. It exports the materials and products to foreign countries, and also distributes some foreign raw materials in China with the cooperation of foreign company.The business scope of CURC is as follows:

- Import/export and home trade for various rubber products, including tires for automobiles and aircrafts, bicycle tires, footwear, hoses, conveyor belts, synchronous belts, V-belts, reclaimed rubber, carbon black, industrial products for aeronautics and space, latex products (condoms, gloves, etc), plastic and rubber-plastic products.
- Import/export and home trade for synthetic rubber, natural rubber, synthetic resin, various chemical agents, various cord (fiber, steel wire).
- Import/export and home trade for complete plant/production line and technologies for rubber and chemical products, single machinery, test instruments and related parts and accessories.
- Establishment of Sino-foreign joint venture, involve in compensation trade, co-operative production, process with supplied/imported materials, designs or brand, assembly with supplied parts and accessories.
- New products development, patents transfer, technical consultation, exhibition service.
