Ningbo Water Meter Works

Ningbo Water Meter Works is located at the lower reaches of the Yangtse Delta, in Ningbo city, the well-known coastal port city. It has 48000 square meters workshops, 270 main equipment, 1300 workers, producing 84 types 16 series of water meters. In 1997 it sold 1.52 million water meters-20% of the domestic market and exports amounting to CNY 50 million and 6 million foreign exchange. Products are exported to America, Brazil, Italy, Denmark, Morocco, Egypt, Israel, Indonesia, Thailand Hongkong and Taiwan etc. It is the largest and leading manufacturer of the water meter industry in China, with advanced technology and high quality.

It attaches importance to the renewal of products. The small size single jet, multi-jet vane wheel dry type water meter and large size removable element woltman water meter, adopting foreign advanced technology, all conform to International Standard ISO 4064 LXS-15E~40E wet type vane wheel water meter won the national silver medal and LXLC-80~500 removable element woltman water meter won the national golden medal. It won the Quality Management prize and good reputation as National Grade Two Enterprise and Grade One Measuring Enterprise. In 1994, It gained the ISO 9001 Qualified Quality System Certificate. In 1997, Ningbo was approved Famous Brand by Machinery Ministry.
