With the establishment of Zhuhai Special Economic Zone in 1980s, Hansen Special Wire Co., Ltd. Was founded. From then on, the Hansen people started from a plant of 1000sq. M. Always stay grounded constantly aggressing acted in many impressive stories about innovating, striving and forging ahead.

In 1987, as one of the earliest manufacturers of CATV cable in China, Hansen began to produce SYV series of solid polyethylene insulation coaxial cable. In 1989, Hansen succeeded in researching CTA 5-cell insulated CATV cable.

In 1995, Hansen began to produce a type of world-class C-F type physical foaming coaxial cable. In 1997, Hansen's project of coaxial drop cable used in access network was approved. In 1999, Hansen Special Wire Co., Ltd was renamed as Hansen Industries Co., Ltd and was moving toward diversification.

In 2000, Hansen 50 ohms RF cable & aluminum-plastic composite pipe launched on the market. In 2005, Hansen moved into Zhuhai Xinqing Technology Park and entered into a quicker development stage. In 2007, Hansen Industries Co., Ltd. Was renamed as Hansen Technology Co., Ltd. And headed for higher aspirations with a new posture.

In 2009, the Hansen 3G low loss feeder cable and radiating mode leaky coaxial cable were identified as independently innovative products of Guangdong Province and passed the appraisal of provincial & ministerial level science & technology achievements. In 2010, Hansen was awarded as an Enterprise for Exemption from Export Inspection by AQSIQ of China and got the Gold Permit to international market. Closely relying on three strategies including technological innovation, self-owned brand and hard work. Hansen has stood out from the fierce market completion, from small to large, from weak to strong and through long-term and stable, quick and sustainable development. Hansen has become the biggest production base of coaxial cable in China and the second in the world.

The Hansen products including coaxial cable, fiber optical cable, high temperature coaxial cable and aviation wire were sold well all over the world and had made excellent contribution to the national industry.
