Inner Mongolia Kerchin Cattle Industry Co., Ltd. is located in Tongliao City, the central part of Kerchin Grassland in China. The Company has more than 800 employees with registered capital amounting to RMB 103.79 million.

Since August 2002, the enterprise has invested RMB 45 million to introduce from German BANSS company advanced cattle/horse slaughter equipment. The company is constructed and monitored in strict accordance with the food hygiene regulations specified by EU and HACCP standards of USA. It takes the first position to utilize series of advanced technologies including animal identification and tracking system, electric stunning system for heart/brain, automatic grading and sorting system, automatic vacuum collecting and conveying system, automatic PLC control system for whole production line. The company is the only meat food processing plant in China designed by German architects with the confirmation from relevant department of EU and fully conforms to EU standards. The equipment is purchased from the EU authoritative manufacturer, and installed under the supervision of German engineer. After being put into operation in 2002, its slaughtering capacity reaches 100 thousand heads per year, and 20 thousand tons of frozen or chilled meat can be produced.

The company has obtained some export approvals and national certificates, including approvals by Russia and Islamic States in Middle East for import, greenfood certificate and halal symbol. In August 2000, the company was designated by the government to supply Hong Kong and Macao markets with live cattle.
