Shanghai Huizhong Automotive Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (SHAC), was founded in 1992 and has its registered office in Pudong/Shanghai. Roots of truck making are going well back to the year 1958, when the first vehicle of its kind was assembled in China.

SHAC manufactures and markets heavy duty trucks and buses, as well as a sound light van, the ME 100 mini buses, locally and internationally.

The Company is also a well respected supplier of a wide variety of key components and automotive parts for the Chinese production activities of multinational companies, such as General Motors and Volkswagen.

For its own assembly, SHAC cooperates with leading suppliers of brand name components for the Power Train (engine, gearbox, axle) of its heavy duty vehicles. Cummins, ZF, Fuller and Steyr are long standing partners of the Company.
Out of more than 8.000 employees, SHAC engages more than 1.500 engineers with further product improvements and design, which reflects the emphasis the Company puts behind technology and development.
