EMR was set up in 1992 in Guangzhou. In the initial years itself, EMR got the oppurtunity to work closely with multinational clients such as Proctor & Gamble (P&G) who were then themselves setting up in China and seeking high quality research services. This initial grounding was important for EMR in that it instilled in the company a quality discipline, processes and mechanisms that are in line with international standards.


EMR has a keen eye on the future and is planning on leveraging experience and expertise gained through forays into Omnibus surveys, specialized retail audits and launching our own trade-marked research techniques tailor-made for the Chinese context.


Our aim is to enhance profits for our clients through a combination of appropriate research methodologies, knowledge and professional service.
