In order to eliminate the SO2 produced in the smoking gas, the company invested 400 million RMB in 1999 in introducing "Shashiji" desulphurization equipments from Germany.

For utilizing fully the byproduct --- desulphurization gypsum being produced by desulphurization technology of smoking gas. In the same year, the cooperation company invested 8.4 million in introducing the internationally advanced and automatically gypsum production line which can produce the 380 thousand square meters gypsum block. The production line start to produce in 2002.
