Established in 1997, C-Star Violin Workshop is located in Tongzhou district of Beijing, staffed by 5 masters and scores of professional luthiers.

The wood we selected for the instruments are from the MID-eastern part of the well-known ALPS mountains, which will be aired in the dry place for above 20 years before putting into use, through this way can the wood exert its potential performance to the utmost. The spruce with dense and even grain or closer in the certer to wider outside are selected for the front plate, and the choice best tone flamed maple for the back, matched ribs as well as scroll.

We have different kinds of models to craft on, such as Stradivarius 1716 Messiah, Guarneri del Gesu 1742 Cannone, Amati, Baroque, and Maggini; And our masters are also very happy to make the instruments on the models you provide and will accurately craft according to your requests.
