China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) is a state owned jumbo complex under the administration of the Central Government of China. It is also a state-authorized investment institution with the registered capital of 6, 400, 000, 000 Yuan (RMB). It has a workforce of 95000 people and incorporates 58 enterprises and institutions.

Key research and design centers, including Marine Design & Research Institute of China, China Ninth Design & Research Institute of the Shipbuilding Industry and CSSC System Engineering Research Institute; And a number of proprietary holding companies, like China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., and other companies.
