Banner Export and Travel, Ltd. is an American company corporately located in Hong Kong with offices in several locations throughout East Asia. In 1997 it began merely as an exporter and promoter of ethnic handicrafts and Western oriented travel arrangements in Southeast China. Today our locations include Tsim Tsa Tsui, Hong Kong, Nanning, Lijiang, Changsha, and Shenzhen.

Banner of Lijiang is a young company, having spent the last two years concentrating on the local language and culture, researching the most viable of product lines, and forming friendships and alliances with many business and local government entities. We are just now launching into an active phase of offering agricultural, craft and medicine product lines from our first phase of research, relationship building, and partnerships. We have many additions to this initial product range which are imminently forthcoming. In fact, those with some knowledge of Southwestern China are encouraged to inquire about products not yet listed on our web site - we probably have, or can get this information quickly for you.

Banner is also unique in that we have connected with many large growers, for instance, who are doing well domestically but who have not the technology, language, or familiarity with U.S., European, or even other East Asian nations to enter into those markets without a "liaison." Thus, we not only export directly but are representative of substantial producers here who prefer that we handle the research and servicing of markets (buyers) that they lack confidence and know-how in reaching. Some, in fact, are getting their products abroad, but only through multiple "middlemen" and higher prices through the "Shanghai" connection and other big port cities. Of these, most have no idea where their products are going. This includes highly valuable agriculture and pharmaceutical raw products. At one time, areas like Lijiang were not even permitted to have direct export privilege. Now they have it, but require help. This is but one reason we feel we can provide quality products at lower prices. We intend to prove that quality of service, reliability, clear communication and quality control are other reasons.
