Hangzhou Asle Electrical Appliances Co., Ltd. was solely-funded by Asle Electrical Co., Ltd. of Japan in November 1994 with a total investment of 350 million Japanese yen and registered capital of 250 million Japanese yen. The company is mainly engaged in the production of low-frequency connectors for electronic equipment, plug-in electronic components and sockets which are sold in Japan, Singapore and other Southeast Asian and European countries and regions. The company also supplies components for the production lines of such electrical appliance makers as Sony, Mitsubishi, Panasonic.


Persisted in the operation principle of Customer First and Quality First, the company has seen a rapid development in the four years after its establishment. The company owns about 10,000 square meter of workshops and employs 1500 people. It earned 21 million US dollars through export in 1998. It was awarded the title of "Advanced Enterprise in Earning Foreign Currency" at provincial and municipal levels for three years in succession, and a "Golden Dragon" medal by the Municipal Government of Hangzhou.
