Study with your peers: All of our students are adults, and business people. It is very difficult to study if your classmates are from very different backgrounds and interests (high school students, university students, etc. ), so we target only business people. You will enjoy studying with classmates who come from similar backgrounds, and face the same situations at work, that you do.
Practical language skills: Our students aren't preparing for exams, they are preparing for real life. They want to use English to build friendships and do business with foreigners. So our classes focus strongly on practical language skills. Our core principle is that the student's first goal should be successful communication. If they make some small mistakes, but the other person can understand their meaning, they've communicated successfully.
Real world situations: In every class, students will practice their English skills based on real world situations. If we're studying about meetings, then we'll have a real meeting. If we're studying telephone skills, then we'll make telephone calls. Our goal is to help you prepare so that when you meet these situations outside of class, you've already practiced, and know what to say and how to act.
Cultural knowledge: Most of our students learn English in order to do business with foreigners. But even if their English is very good, if they don't understand the cultural differences, they will still meet many problems and make many mistakes. 25% of every class will look at cultural differences in different countries, and help students understand how to avoid cultural mistakes, so that they can build stronger relationships, and have more successful business.
Top quality teachers: It isn't enough for us to have great English teachers. Because we are teaching Business English, we need teachers who also have strong business experience, so that they can teach our students how to do business in English. All of our foreign teachers are required to both have excellent teaching credentials, and to have a strong business background.
Speaking, not listening: You can't learn to use English if you're not speaking. In our classes, 90% of the time will be for students to practice speaking, rather than listening to the teacher. Our teachers are there to help them if they have problems or questions, but our focus is on giving our students the opportunity to use what they are learning.
