PTFE gaskets are available in a range of grades to suit various sealing applications, providing exceptional resistance to chemicals, high dielectric strength and a broad operating temperature range. They also offer effective resistance to moisture absorption, corrosion and hydrolysis, and have an extremely low coefficient of friction, making them a popular option as a seal in rotary or linear movement applications.

Our most common grades are virgin PTFE and expanded virgin PTFE. Both comply with current FDA regulations and, as such, are frequently used in the food, drink and pharmaceutical industries. Expanded Virgin PTFE are popular for use on delicate, worn or damaged flanges due to increased compressibility over the standard virgin grade. Many other grades with additional fillers can be supplied including; bronze, carbon, glassfiber,graphite.... 

 

At Hongda, we have the capability to cut PTFE gaskets, seals and washers to precise tolerances and can fulfil single or large volume requirements utilising in-house CNC machinery. We can manufacture dovetail, picture frame or standard flange gaskets and have the ability to work to bespoke dimensional drawings if required.
