| Application: | Confirmat screws are designed specifically for use in furniture & carcass assembly. They have a very coarse, sharp angled thread which helps the screws to cut into MDF & chipboard materials. Confirmat screws are particularly effective for right angle butt joints. Confirmat screws will work just fine in plywood too. After you get your hands on a couple of confirmat screws you will likely never use a regular screw for cabinet assembly again. The trick is to bore the hole straight so that you don't get any blowouts on the horizontal shelves, top and bottom. |
