Negative Pressure Wound Therapy NPWT Machine and Dressing
Product Features
• Continuously adjustable ultra-low negative pressure (-50mmHg to -450mmHg)
• Ultra-intelligent and highly convenient with multiple operation modes settings
• Stable performance and long service life with the continuous operation up to more than 6,000 hours
• Meticulously designed noise reduction system to control running noise of the device within a very low range (less than 45 dB) without affecting the patient's rest.
• Mastered by microelectronic chip to guarantee higher accuracy and user-friendly operation
• Highly intelligent memory system that can automatically record the parameters and modes in the last setup, free from repeatedly setting after each starting up.
• LCD digital display, easy to adjust and operate
• Multiple safe solutions for power supply:
1. The AC-DC dual-use power supply is adopted, with the host equipment equipped with full DC power supply, free from any danger of electric shock.
2. The backup battery inside of the equipment can keep the device function normally for 4 hours once external power supply is cut off, and it can keep running for 8 hours under intermittent mode
3. A 12V 5A vehicle DC power supply can also be used to ensure the continuous treatment of patients with negative pressure suction unit, when being transferred or going out.
• Protection against overflowing alarm warning system inside of the equipment can make the device stop working automatically, simultaneously making the audible warning alarm. It can prevent the contaminating fluid from entering the host equipment to avoid secondary pollution which may also damage the equipment.
• Any gas-leakage will be alarmed automatically: the unit will spontaneously stop and alarm when the negative pressure value remains no change within 10 minutes after the operation.
• Multiple safety protections, such as gas-leak alarm, automatic overheated prevention,
overflow prevention, etc. are available in place.
• The wide adjustable range of the negative pressure setting enables the device to be applicable to all regions in the nation (regions at various altitudes)

Negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT) is a therapeutic technique using a vacuum dressing to promote healing in acute or chronic wounds and enhance healing of second- and third-degree burns. The therapy involves the controlled application of sub-atmospheric pressure to the local wound environment, using a sealed wound dressing connected to a vacuum pump. The use of this technique in wound management increased dramatically over the 1990s and 2000s and a large number of studies have been published examining NPWT. NPWT appears to be useful for diabetic ulcers and management of the open abdomen (laparotomy) but further research is required for other wound types.
Contraindications for NPWT use include:
Malignancy in the wound
Untreated osteomyelitis
Non enteric and unexplored fistulas
Necrotic tissue with eschar present
Exposed blood vessels, anastomotic sites, organs and nerves in the periwound area (must avoid direct foam contact with these structures)
