High overload distribution transformer is a kind of distribution transformer developed to solve the short-term sharp increase of electric load. It is mainly meets the power supply requirements of the rural public 10kV high-load power distribution in the operating area of the State Grid Corporation which effectively solves the situation of overload and burnout of the rural distribution transformers during the Spring Festival and the busy farming period, and ensures the security and stability of the rural power supply, as well as the operation economy of the rural distribution transformers.

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
1. In view of the low average annual load rate and short-term and large-scale increase of the load during the Spring Festival and the busy farming period in rural areas, it can meet the long-term demand of small load and the short-term demand of excessive load on the premise of ensuring the basic power capacity.
2. High overload capacity distribution transformer is with the characteristics of energy saving, high efficiency, environmental protection, small free load current, low reactive power loss and strong short-circuit resistance etc..
3. The high overload transformer can resist high load and prevent the transformer from burning down due to overload. It can run for over 6 hours at 1.5 times rated load,3 hours at 1.75 times rated load and more than 1 hour at 2 times rated load, which can effectively solve the transformer burn caused by short time overload;
4. The oil tank adopts fully sealed corrugated structure and the expansion coefficient is not less than 1.3, which ensures that there is no oil leakage under the specified working and overload conditions.

The short -term and rapid increase of electric load refers to: During most of the year, it is in light load, but the load increases rapidly in ten days or half a month which exceeding the rated load 1.5 times or even 2 times, and the load is concentrated in 2-3 hours, such as the Spring Festival load and busy farming load in the rural grid.
