Introduction
Centrifugal spray dryer is the most widely used drying technology in drying technology.
It helps simple and effective drying of liquid or suspension materials. In addition, during the drying process, the user can control the temperature of the dried product, form the grain for them exactly as required for production.
The device has advantages compared to conventional drying equipment: hot air is put into the dehumidifying filter to help quick drying time; Product quality is improved; continuous machine operation, complete automation, simple operation, easy maintenance, low labor costs; The device is designed to suit a wide range of products, especially temperature-sensitive materials.
Equipment design conditions
1. Atomizer
Atomizer shall function as a spray dryer producing granules from the water suspension or slurry.
The following options shall be provided for the atomizer:
1.1. A cyclone with a separate output to separate particles less than 40 mm;
1.2. Frequency converter for the turbine speed variation;
1.3. Possibility to feed suspension directly to the turbine, the adjustable volume of suspension feed;
1.4. Automatic control of slurry supplied to the turbine.
1.5. Washing option;
1.6. Light and sound alarms.
2. Parameter of materials
2.1 Feed material: water suspension - slurry. Non-combustible, non-explosive.
2.2. Composition of the feed material: water - 41%; dry substance - 59%.
2.3. Particle size: 40-200 mm.
2.4. The equipment shall be capable of producing granules of spherical form.
2.5. Production rate: 50-100 kg of material per hour; evaporation rate: 65-70 kg/h.
2.6. Heater type: gas burner. Heat transfer medium: natural gas.
2.7. Temperature mode of the dryer:
The inlet temperature of the drying chamber: 200-350°С;
The outlet temperature of the drying chamber: 60-140°С.
3. Inlet and outlet temperature control.
3.1. Accuracy of the drying temperature control: ±5°С.
3.2. Automatic burner control. The automatic system shall respond to gas pressure and under-pressure in the drying chamber.
3.3 Residual moisture content in granules: max. 0.15%.
3.4. Content of cyclone powder: max. 10%;
3.5. Under-pressure in the cyclone: 50-100 mm Hg.
3.6. Turbine speed: 16000-20000 RPM (equivalent)
3.7. Control mode: automatic/ programmable. Automatic control of the temperature modes shall be ensured.
If the actual temperature does not correspond to the specified temperature, sound and light alarm shall be activated.
4. Drying Requirement
4.1 During spray drying, a provision shall be made to avoid dust particles ingressing into the production facilities.
4.2 Utility connections: gas, water, power 220/380 V.
4.3 The equipment shall be complete with a pump that delivers suspension to the sprayer, automatic compressor with automatic flow rate, and pressure control to feed air to the spraying dryer.
4.4 Automatic nozzle cleaning system to avoid nozzle fouling. Cleaning rates shall be set on the screen.
4.5 Internal dimensions of the site where the spraying dryer will be located: ~10.5m×6m×6m;
taking into consideration the operator's work area: ~10.5m×6m×9m.
4.6 Overall dimensions of the dryer shall ensure safe operation with an account of site dimensions specified in clause 20.
5. Safety requirements:
The spraying dryer (atomizer) shall be fire and explosion-proof without negative impact on other equipment located in the same room.
In case of failures, a fail-safe shutdown system shall be provided.
The equipment shall meet the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (TRCU) «On safety of machines and equipment» and «On safety of gas-fired appliances and equipment» and have a TRCU certificate or TRCU declaration.

Installation and Commissioning and Training:
1. Buyers arrange installation and debugging by themselves under a manual book from the supplier.
2. If the buyer requires engineers from the seller's party, the buyer should arrange the following items:
(A)Within 30 days after the machines are delivered to the buyer's factory, the buyer shall inform the seller to arrange engineers to the buyer's factory for installation, commissioning, test, and training machine operators.
(B)The buyer should provide the engineers(1-2 person) the boarding and lodging, transportation during the engineer's stay in the buyer's country, and round trip air ticket and visa fee for the engineers. Besides, the buyer should pay the money as salary for one engineer per day.
