1217 Silicone Sealant for PV Junction Box

1217 Silicone Sealant for PV Junction Box is a two-part silicone potting sealant. No heat release when curing, no corrosion, low shrinkage, fast curing speed, excellent thermal conductivity, weather resistance, flame retardancy and water & moisture resistance. It is specially designed for potting applications for solar photovoltaic junction box.

• Good adhesion to PC, PVC, ABS, PA, PPO, etc.

• Good weather resistance, maintains elasticity in the temperature range of -60 ° C ~ 220 ° C after curing and does not become hard, cracked and chipped
• Suitable for machine mixing and meeting automation requirements
• Flame retardant performance up to UL 94 V-0

APPLICATIONS:
1217 Silicone Sealant is specially designed for potting and encapsulating of photovoltaic junction box, and it can reduce the overall cost of junction box compared to the junction boxes without potting.

1217 Silicone Sealant for PV Junction Box has passed ISO9001/ISO14001 management system certification and passed QC080000 hazardous substance process management system certification, and strictly in accordance with ISO9001 quality system requirements for production and control of product quality.

COLOUR:
White, black, other color can be produced according to customer's requirements

MIXING RATIO:
The ratio of Part A to Part B is 10:1 (weight ratio)

USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE:
The product should be stored in a cool, dry place at or below 27 °C. It has a usable life of 6 months from the date of production.

HOW TO USE:
• Keep the potting surface clean and free from oil and other impurities
• Stir Part A and Part B separately first before mixing
• Part A and Part B are uniformly mixed in the mixing tank according to the mixing ratio, and the uneven mixing affects the appearance and insulation properties of the cured product. If high thermal conductivity is required, it is best to vacuum defoam for about 5 minutes and complete the potting within the operating time.
• The potted parts are cured at room temperature. After initial solidification, they can enter the next process. Under room temperature conditions, it usually takes about 3 hours to cure. In summer, the temperature is high and the curing will be faster; in winter, the temperature will be lower and the curing will be slower.
• It is recommended to use special potting equipment for potting.

PRECAUTIONS:
• Before using, please read the safety data sheet of this product for the safe use of the product.
• Avoid contact with eyes before curing. If contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
• Pay attention to ventilation in the construction and curing areas
• Uncured products should avoid contact with children
