Raneys nickel catalyst for gray and black particles, with reactive hydrogen, very unstable,oxidation in the air com­bustion, must be soaked in water or ethanol preservation.

Product application:
This product is mainly used in catalytic hydrogenation of basic organic chemicals. It can be used for hydrogenation of c-h bond,c-n bond,nitroso compound and nitroso compound. The hydrogenation of azo and azo compounds,imines, amines and benzyl hydrazine can also be used in dehydration, ring forming and condensation reactions.
The most typical applications are glucose hydrogenation and fatty nitrile hydrogenation.
