What is DL-methionine?
Thiamine or vitamin B1 is a complex of water-soluble B vitamins that is used in the biosynthesis of the neurotransmitters
acetylcholine and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). In yeast, TPP is also needed in the first step of alcoholic fermentation. Thiamine is used by all living things, but it is only synthesized in bacteria, fungi and plants. Animals have to get it from their diet, so, for us, it's an essential nutrient. Insufficient intake in birds produces the characteristic polyneuritis.
