Product Description:
L-Cystine is an organic compound with the molecular formula C6H12N2O4S2 and a molecular weight of 240.3. It is a white hexagonal plate-like crystal or white crystalline powder, soluble in dilute acid and alkaline solutions, extremely insoluble in water, and insoluble in ethanol. It is present in small amounts in proteins and is mostly found in keratin in hair, fingertips, and other tissues.In medicine, it is used as a raw material for producing antidotes and expectorants. In the food industry, it is used as a dairy additive and a quick acting promoter for bread. When heated with sugars in food, it can produce various special aromas and prevent oil oxidation. Usage:
