Roschen offers a complete line of wireline casing advancers, in all standard industry sizes.
Roschen provides a full line of wireline casing advancers for soil sampling and overburden coring in conjunction with casing. These can also be used for casing through difficult overburden or formations.

Description:
The inner assembly fitted with a pre-torqued rock bit is lowered through the loading sleeve into the hard chrome plated driver which is fitted with a casing shoe
The positive latching Longyear Casing Advancer cuts through the overburden, reaming and casing off in one efficient process.
A wireline overshot is lowered to retrieve the inner assembly and rock bit. Raising the overshot retracts the driving latches. The spring-loaded, tapered stop latches slide upward freely.
Soil Sampling or coring can now take place.
The inner assembly is lowered down the hole with the drive latches retracted by its own weight. The stop latches are sprung against the casing and bring the assembly to a secure halt correctly positioned in the driving sleeve.
Note: The inner assembly is always lowered on overshot.
The casing with casing advancer attached can then be drilled to bedrock. The inner assembly is withdrawn and the casing is then seated into the rock. Normal coring procedures may now proceed.
Casing Advancer:
1. This Drilling Method is Typically Used when Gravel, Cobble, and Boulders Cause Premature Auger Refusal.
2. Roschen has the Capability to Advance Casing Through Collapsing Formations in Order to Maintain Borehole Integrity.
3. Both 2 in. and 4 in. Wells can be Installed Through the Casing Advancer Tools.
4. Diameter of Drill Tools - 4 in. to 6 in.
Wireline casing advancers are typically used for the following applications:
1. Soil sampling and overburden coring in conjunction with casing advancement
2. Casing through difficult overburden and caving bedrock formations
3. Casing off the water environment from rivers and lakes while drilling from barges or platforms
4. Over drilling lost or stuck tooling
5. Piezometer or well installations with minimal cuttings
6. Well abandonment
