Propyl acetate, also known as propyl acetate, n-propyl acetate, n-propyl acetate, colorless clear liquid, with a soft fruit flavor. It occurs naturally in strawberries, bananas and tomatoes. Soluble in alcohol, ketone, ester, oil and other organic solvents, can be slightly soluble in water. Propyl acetate has two isomers, namely n-propyl acetate and isopropyl acetate. Both are colorless and easily flowing transparent liquids. Both have fruity aromas. They all exist in nature.
