Product Description

GD-2138H Cable Fault Locator System is movable cable fault detection device which is applicable for various types of power cable, communication cables. It can accurately measure the distance of cable fault and locate the fault point.

Cable path detection

Fault location function:

Low-voltage pulse method: suitable for accurate measurement of low resistance, short circuit, and wire breakage.
Pulse current method: It is suitable for the measurement of high resistance and flashover faults. It uses a galvanic coupler to collect signals from the ground line and is isolated from the high voltage part, which is safe and reliable.

Fine point function:
Acoustic and magnetic synchronous receiving, strong anti-interference ability.
Acoustic and magnetic signal waveform display, signal and noise are easy to distinguish.
The cursor measures the acoustic and magnetic delay to accurately determine the distance of the fault point.
Path detection can be performed at the same time as the fixed point according to the initial polarity of the magnetic field waveform.

GD2131H is used to assist the auxiliary high voltage power supply when using the impact flashover method to detect high resistance faults.
