The plastic part is a closed shell with an approximate rectangular shape. There are 3 small functional structures on the edge of the shell that need to be designed for slider core pulling. There is an oblique cylinder at one corner of the plastic part, which needs to be designed for slider core pulling. The shape of the cylinder also needs to be designed to pull the slider core. The top surface of the plastic part has local protrusions, 4 bosses and round holes. There are multiple reinforcing ribs on the edge and inside of the plastic part.

We use a needle valve type hot runner system. The needle valve hot runner system has better product quality than the open hot runner system. The needle valve type hot nozzle is used for single point feeding, and the needle valve is driven by a cylinder, as shown in Figure 5. A template is added between the fixed die base plate and the A plate to install the needle valve hot nozzle and the cylinder. A Ø30 locating pin is designed between the fixed die base plate and the hot nozzle fixing plate. This locating pin bears a lot of force and cannot be too thin. The needle valve hot runner of this cleaning robot bottom shell adopts the air pressure control method.
Due to the thickness of the cylinder and the sufficient space required for the movement of the piston rod, the cylinder block is sunk on the back of the A plate, the copper sleeve is designed on the cylinder head to guide the piston rod, the lever fixing seat is fixed on the back of the A plate, and the positioning pin is used to prevent rotation. The rotation center of the lever is fixed on the lever fixing seat, one end is slotted to hold the cup head of the valve needle, and the other end is connected to the piston rod. Ventilation at the bottom of the piston can make the piston rod lift up, the lever swings, and the valve pin is driven to press down, locking the gate. After the injection molding is completed, the top of the piston can be ventilated to lift the valve needle.
There are many bone sites on the edge of the plastic parts, and inserts are designed in the fixed mold to facilitate the exhaust of the bone sites
