B.Application method
1.To take out the model of intramuscular injection from the suitcase;
2.To prepare the syringes and No.6-7 syringe needle
3.To check gluteus maximus, the rules of intramuscular injection include:
(1. The UOQB method: drawing the horizontal line from the top of anal cleft to the left(or right), drawing the vertical line from the top of the crista iliaca, 1/4 upper area regards as the injection area.
(2.The UOAL method: to separate the area between the anterior superior spine and coccyx into three equal parts, the top part regards as the injection area.
4.Using the right hand to hold the syringe as grip a pen, to use the middle finger to stabilize the syringe pintle, use the left hand to stabilize the skin, put the needle into the muscle vertically, make sure 2/3 of the length of needle into skin.
5.When the light goes red, it means stick too deep or wrong area; when the light goes right, it means operation is correct.
C.Maintain
1.To use the neutral detergent when the model is dirty (abluent, washing powder)
2.Keep the sharp items away to avoid model broken
3.Please store the model in cool and dry place if you do not use it.
