The precursor of 3-indole acetic acid biosynthesis in plants is tryptophan. The basic role of auxin is to regulate the growth of plants, not only to promote growth, but also to inhibit growth and organ formation. Auxin not only exists in a free state in plant cells, it can also exist in bound auxins that are firmly bound to biopolymers and other auxins, and there are also auxins that form conjugates with special substances, such as indole acetyl asparagus Amide, indole acetate pennose and indole acetyl glucose, etc. This may be a way of storing auxin in cells, and also a way of detoxifying the poison of excess auxin.
