Separation principle: Under the action of centrifugal force field, when the density of the solid phase is greater than that of the liquid phase, the solid phase is deposited on the inner wall of the bowl, and the screw conveyor and the bowl move the solid phase to the discharge under the set differential speed. When it enters the cone end of the bowl and reaches the discharge port, it leaves the overflow surface, the moisture content of the solid phase is further reduced, and is discharged to the discharge port. The liquid phase overflows from the overflow port at the big end of the bowl.
The overflow radius can be adjusted to suit different materials. The smaller the overflow radius, the higher the moisture content of the solid phase and the lower the solid content of the liquid phase (the liquid phase is clearer); the larger the overflow radius, the lower the moisture content of the solid phase and the lower the solid content of the liquid phase. High (more turbid liquid phase).
LWX horizontal decanter (centripetal pump liquid) centrifuge: the liquid discharge method is centripetal pump, and the liquid discharge radius is adjustable. The outlet liquid has a certain pressure and can be directly connected to the outlet pipeline.
LWXF horizontal decanter (explosion-proof) centrifuge: Before starting the centrifuge, the centrifuge inner cavity and the casing cavity are replaced with nitrogen, and the oxygen content concentration in the inner cavity is below the set safe concentration before it can be started. Nitrogen is added during operation. Nitrogen seals are installed at both ends of the centrifuge to ensure the isolation of the centrifuge cavity from the outside and meet explosion-proof requirements. The motor of the centrifuge and the electrical components on site must meet the explosion-proof grade of the working condition. The transmission belt is antistatic and has static grounding. In explosion-proof applications, centripetal pumps are generally used. The solid outlet of the centrifuge must be connected to the fan and other devices.
The settling velocity of the solid-liquid two-phase mixture is determined by the dispersion state of the suspended matter and the two-phase density, and is also significantly affected by the surface state of the solid-liquid two-phase, because it can affect the stability of the mixture and control the interaction between particles. state of contact. The properties of these systems may also be time dependent, as some suspensions have settling velocities that vary with time.
Settling velocity is the main basis for type selection. By analyzing and testing the physical and chemical properties of the solid-liquid mixture, determining the separation process, and conducting necessary technical and economic analysis (product quality, yield, energy consumption, production capacity, operation safety, control), select the appropriate separation equipment.
Generally, the sedimentation method is more economical than the filtration method, especially in those cases involving high-volume, continuous liquid flow, gravity settling is considered to be the first choice.
When the density difference between the solid-liquid two-phase is very small, try not to use the sedimentation method for solid-liquid two-phase separation. Or increase the density difference through appropriate process methods, or increase its separation power through the action of centrifugal force.

The centrifuge can be installed directly on the floor, and the discharge port is set on the floor, which can be connected to the lower silo or conveying device through a soft connection.
If it is installed on the bottom floor, it is necessary to set up the installation bracket and the centrifuge elevated so that the discharge port has a sufficient height from the ground for receiving the material. The specific height is determined according to the material receiving method.
For elevated installation, a safety fence should be provided around the centrifuge plate.
The pipe connections of the feed pipe, flushing pipe, liquid outlet pipe, and discharge port of the centrifuge should be connected by hoses.
