Audited Supplier The DAM1 series circuit breakers by Shanghai DaDa Electric Co., Ltd. are designed to conduct current in normal mode and switch it off in cases of short circuits, overload, inadmissible bucking, operational actuation, and tripping of electric circuit parts. They are suitable for electric units with an operative voltage limit of 400V and a rated current ranging from 12.5 to 1600A. These circuit breakers meet the requirements of EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-2.
Thermal Protection Function: The bimetal in the breaker provides thermal protection by bending towards the metal with less extension when heated. This action releases a notch to disable the breaker, with the bending speed proportional to the current passing through the breaker, offering overcurrent protection.
Magnetic Protection Function: The breaker also protects against short circuits by instantly opening to break the system energy in case of a short circuit. The mechanical opening mechanism operates with magnetization caused by the magnetic area formed by the short circuit current.
