IEC60695 Automatic Wires and Cables Short-Circuit Fire Performance Test Device
1. Product Description
Simulate fire hazard test environment, wires and cables on real burning environment, do test for wires and cables on special current short-circuit condition. Test data is used to assess the burning performance of materials at fire hazard.
2. Standards
IEC60695
3. Technical Parameters
Current display |
0-600A |
Voltage |
AC 90-450V |
Standard required |
Burner uses a premixed Bunsen burner that meets the requirements of IEC60695 and related IEC standards. |
Short-circuit before the fire |
The loop current is controlled by the moving fixture, and the moving fixture reciprocates at a linear speed of 1m/s-3m/s. The test terminates when the current is disconnected. (This test does not involve flame heating) |
Short circuit after fire |
The loop current is controlled by the internal control circuit, the dynamic fixture is not active; the current connection time is 0.1-99m99s, and the disconnection time is 0.1-99m99s; at the same time, the flame is applied to the wire, and the flame application time is recorded as the power-on time. When the line is broken, the flame is removed and the test is terminated. (This test uses a prior flame to heat the wire. The heating time can be set and the wire can be short-circuited.) |
Overcurrent |
The loop current is always on, the dynamic fixture does not move, and the application time is recorded. When there is no current in the conductor, the timing device stops timing and records the current time; the test is terminated. (This test does not involve flame heating). |
