| Application/Uses | Metalaxyl-M is a single (R) - isomer of Metoprolol, with a bactericidal activity 20-30 times higher than the (S) - isomer. It is the first commercially available stereoactive fungicide. It can be absorbed by the roots, stems, and leaves of crops and transferred to various organs of plants with the movement of water in the plant. It can be used for stem and leaf treatment, seed treatment, and soil treatment. |
| ECOTOXICOLOGY | Acute toxicity: Oral LD50: 953 for male rats and 375 mg/kg for female rats. Rat transdermal LD50>2000 mg/kg. It has a strong irritant effect on rabbit eyes and no irritant effect on rabbit skin. No sensitization to guinea pig skin. Rats inhaled LC50 (4 hours)>290 mg/m3. Chronic toxicity: Maximum no effect dose (NOEL), fed to rats for 2 years and dogs (6 months) at 7.4 mg/(kg · d). No carcinogenicity, mutagenicity, teratogenicity, and no impact on reproduction. Ecotoxicity: Oral LD50 (14 days) of mountain toothed quail ranges from 981 to 1419 mg/kg, while LC50 (8 days) is greater than 5620 mg/kg (feed). Rainbow trout LC50 (96 h) 100 mg/L. Water flea LC50 (48 hours)>100 mg/L. ErC50 (72 hours) 103 mg/L. Virginia East Oyster LC50 (96 h) 9.7 mg/L. Bee LD50 (48 hours) contact>100 μ G per piece. Chizi Aisheng earthworm LC50 (14 days) 830 mg/kg (soil). It is harmless to other beneficial organisms, such as ground beetle beetle and stinkbug. |
