High Temperature Flame Retardant Insulating Acetate Cloth Tape for Bundling

The black acetate cloth tape consists of a black acetate fabric backing coated with a high temperature flame retardant adhesive. The adhesive can be either rubber or acrylic based. Depending on the requirements, the base material can be given a flame retardant treatment to achieve a self-extinguishing (fire resistant) property, resulting in "flame retardant acetate cloth". Products without added flame retardants will ignite and continue to burn, and are referred to as "non-flame retardant acetate fabric". In general, the acetate cloth base material and adhesive alone do not provide fire resistance. Special processing is required to achieve the "flame retardant" effect.
 

 

• High Temperature Resistance: The tape can maintain stable performance in high-temperature environments, preventing melting or deformation. It typically has a high temperature resistance of 150 degrees Celsius or higher.
• Flame Retardancy: It exhibits excellent flame retardant properties, effectively suppressing the spread of flames and reducing the risk of fires.
• Insulation Performance: The tape provides good insulation performance, making it suitable for electrical insulation encapsulation and protection, preventing current leakage and short circuits.
• Wear Resistance: It has high wear resistance, enabling it to withstand physical stress and abrasion, thus maintaining the integrity and performance of the tape.

The acetate cloth tape processed from the acetate cloth base material offers high temperature resistance, aging resistance, flexibility, good formability, easy to cut and unwind. It is also resistant to acids, alkalis, mildew, and has better insulation properties compared to ordinary fiberglass cloth.

This tape is typically used in areas that require high temperature resistance and flame retardancy, such as electrical equipment, electrical wiring, and battery components. It provides additional protection to prevent fires and electrical accidents, ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel.
