PFA (polytetrafluoroethylene - perfluoroalkane copolymer) is a kind of high performance plastic material. It has excellent heat, corrosion and chemical resistance and can work in extreme environments for a long time. The tensile strength and tensile strength of PFA are very high, and the transparency is excellent, and will not affect the processed product. PFA is formed by copolymerization of polymer and fluoride. The manufacturing process of the material is complex and requires high temperature and pressure environments. In the production process, polytetrafluoroethylene and perfluoro will be heated together to form a polymer polymer. This polymer has very good physical and chemical properties, so that PFA materials have excellent performance. The wide range of applications of PFA materials include aerospace, chemical, electronic, medical and other fields. In the aerospace sector, PFA materials can be used to manufacture high-temperature and high-pressure pipes, connectors, and other safety-critical components that can withstand extreme temperatures and pressures. In the chemical industry, PFA materials can be used in the manufacture of highly corrosion-resistant components such as chemical tanks, gas distribution systems, and chemical pumps. In the field of electronics, PFA materials can be used in the manufacture of high-performance materials such as semiconductor processing equipment, sensors, and cables. Overall, PFA is an excellent high-performance material with excellent heat, corrosion and chemical resistance. Its wide application range and diversified manufacturing methods make it have a very broad prospect in the future development. |
The difference between PTFE and PFA 1 Different performance PFA It is a copolymer of a small amount of perfluoropropyl perfluorovinyl ether and polytetrafluoroethylene. The melt adhesion is enhanced, the viscosity of the solution is decreased, and the properties of the polytetrafluoroethylene have no change compared with that of polytetrafluoroethylene. The resin can be directly processed into products by ordinary thermoplastic forming methods. PTFE Polytetrafluoroethylene (F4,PTFE) has a series of excellent performance: high temperature resistance - long-term use temperature 200~260 degrees, low temperature resistance - still soft at -100 degrees; Corrosion resistance - resistant to and all organic solvents. Weather resistance - the best aging life of plastics; High lubrication - has the lowest coefficient of friction in plastics (0.04); Non-stickiness - having the smallest surface tension among solid materials without adhering to any substance; Non-toxic - has physiological inertia; Excellent electrical properties, is the ideal C class insulation material. 2. PFA molding When the melting finger of the PFA product is in the range of 0.8~3.0g/10min, the molecular weight is relatively high, the viscosity is large, and it is not easy to flow, and it is generally suitable for processing by using the molding method. The molding temperature is 330~380ºC, the pressure is 5.0~14.0MPa, and the mold is kept at the molding temperature for 20~30min, and then the melt is slowly cooled to 200~240ºC under pressure before the mold can be released. The characteristics of high viscosity of PFA melt, low critical shear rate and high forming temperature should be taken into account when designing the mold. |
