Levamisole Hydrochloride (Levamisole HCl), is an anthelmintic (animals roundworm,hookworm, etc.)
agent commonly used in large livestock such as cattle, pigs and sheep.
It can selectively inhibit succinate dehydrogenase in parasite's muscle so as to stop the reduction of
succinic acid from fumaric acid. Therefore the parasite's muscle metabolim lacks of oxygen and
leads to decreasing of energy.
This product can be used as pharmaceutical raw materials, as an anthelmintic for the treatment of
animals roundworm, hookworm, etc.
Levamisole is an antihelminthic drug that has been tried experimentally in rheumatic disorders where it apparently restores the immune response by increasing macrophage chemotaxis and T-lymphocyte function.
Levamisole was originally used as an antihelminthic to treat worm infestations in both humans and animals.
