When selecting a cable chain, consider the following principles:

• Inner Height: Take the tallest internally installed cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference height, adding at least 10% of the space height as the inner height (HI).


• Inner Width: Calculate the sum of the outside diameters of the thicker cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, or water pipes as the inner width, leaving a 10% margin of space.


• Bend Radius: Use the largest radius of a bend of a cable, oil pipe, gas pipe, or water pipe as a reference value, with a 10% margin of space.

For internally laid cables, oil pipes, water pipes, or gas pipes, reserve 15% of the space as a margin to allow for free movement without stressing the drag chains. Different diameter cables should be laid separately, balanced evenly, and can be separated using spacers if needed.

When operating at high speed or frequency, horizontally laid cables should not overlap. If many cables, gas pipes, and oil pipes are laid together, use spacers for separation.

The construction of the cable chain resembles a tank crawler with freely turning joints. Each unit chain joint consists of left-right chain plates and up-down covers, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly without threading. Spacers are available to divide the space inside the chain as needed.
