Audited Supplier The Kapton Polyimide tape is derived from a polyimide film coated with high-performance silicone adhesive on one or both sides. This heat-resistant polyimide tape is capable of being used within a wide temperature range of -260°F (-452°C) to 500°F (260°C). It finds applications in high-temperature operations such as safeguarding printed circuit boards during wave soldering or reflow soldering, SMT surface mounting, transformer manufacturing, and securing the positive and negative electrodes and terminals in lithium batteries.
