- Small eye contact area and gentle compression for minimal discomfort.
- Safe for repeated measurements without harm to the eyes.
- Easy self-measurement without assistance.
- Similar to ICARE tonometer, easy to operate and accurate.
- Advanced Lateral LCD design for better control and clear value display.
- Small, portable, and can be used without environmental restrictions for continuous monitoring.
- Disposable probes to prevent cross-infection.
- Can be used in upright or lying positions, suitable for patients who cannot stand.
- Wireless data printing capability (requires additional photocopier).
- Built-in storage for up to ten sets of data with time and date settings.
- Safe and energy-efficient AA battery usage with stable integrated circuits.
Working Mechanism:
The FA800 rebound tonometer uses innovative sensing rebound technology. The magnetized probe generates N/S poles, creating a transient magnetic field that moves the probe towards the cornea at 0.2m/s. The probe bounces on the cornea, and the deceleration is converted into ocular pressure readings.
The rebound tonometer quickly converts pressure into voltage or current signals for instant measurement data.
Applicability:
- Used in tonometry tests by ophthalmologists, optometrists, general physicians, and health advisors.
- Beneficial for patients with dementia, mobility issues, and children with cornea conditions.
- Handy for glaucoma patients to monitor ocular pressure at home.
Usage:
- Turn on the tonometer and install the probe.
- Adjust the distance to the eyes.
- Press the button for single or average measurements.
*Short measuring time, only seconds.
*Reduces check time for glaucoma.
*Capable of storing ocular data for up to ten patients.
