Product Description
Calcined petroleum coke is a by-product of refining crude oil. Calcined petroleum coke referred to as CPC.Residual oil and petroleum pitch obtained by crude oil distillation under pressure or vacuum can be used as raw materials for manufacturing petroleum coke. After coking, green petroleum coke is obtained, and then calcined at high temperature. Later it became a recarburizer. Calcined petroleum coke is a relatively common recarburizer at present. It has the characteristics of high calorific value, less volatile matter, higher moisture and sulfur content than coal. It is often used by manufacturers to replace coal. At the same time, it can also be used by manufacturers as a combustion-supporting agent.

Calcined Petroleum Coke producing process:
Calcined petroleum coke, in the case of graphite electrodes for steel making or anode pastes (melting electrodes) for aluminum and magnesium, in order to meet the requirements of petroleum coke (green coke), the green coke must be calcined. The calcination temperature is generally around 1300 ° C, in order to remove the petroleum coke volatiles as much as possible.
