PRODUCTION FLOW OF DUCTILE IRON PIPES
Jintai products strictly meet the below standards:
ISO 2531 and BSEN545 or BSEN598
The material of the pipe is: ductile iron. The spheroidization rate is strictly controlled at <3 level according to the percentage of spherical graphite in the total number.
The manufacturing process is to use qualified spheroidized molten iron to undergo high-speed centrifugal casting, and then undergo annealing, hydraulic pressure, and internal and external anti-corrosion treatment. It is used in municipal water supply pipe networks, long-distance water transmission in water plants, municipal sewage pipelines, and urban-rural integration,Pipe network and other municipal water conservancy pipes.
Jintai's ductile iron pipe for water supply has the following characteristics:
1. Their material is ductile iron, whose main components are iron, carbon and silicon. It is an alloy of iron, carbon and silicon. Because its graphite is spherical, it is named "ductile iron pipe".
2. They have superior strength and toughness. Magnesium or rare earth magnesium combined gold spheroidizing agent is added before casting to spheroidize the graphite and reduce stress concentration, making the pipes have the characteristics of high strength, high elongation and impact resistance. Its tensile strength is not less than 420MPa, and its elongation is more than 10%.
3. The inner wall of the water supply ductile iron pipe is lined with cement mortar, which not only improves the water transportation environment of the pipeline, but also increases the water supply capacity and reduces energy consumption. Its surface is sprayed with zinc and asphalt coating to enhance the corrosion resistance of the pipeline.
