Disodium hydrogen phosphate,white powder or granular; relative density 1.86g/cm3;

Soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol; If its aqueous solution is heated together with diluted inorganic acid, it will be hydrolyzed into phosphoric acid;

It is hygroscopic, and when absorbing humidity;
it will become into a product with hexa-hydrates; If it is heated at a temperature above 220ºC, it will be decomposed into sodiummeta phosphate.

1. Food industry: Disodium hydrogen phosphate is used in the food industry as an acid regulator, buffer and emulsifier. It can be used to regulate the pH of food, increase stability and improve texture. Commonly used in dairy products, flour products, meat products, frozen food and so on.

2. chemical industry: Disodium hydrogen phosphate is a commonly used chemical raw material, can be used to produce diammonium phosphate, glyphosate and other pesticides and fungicides. It can also be used as an additive in the synthetic detergent, ceramics and glass industries.

3.  Pharmaceutical industry: Disodium hydrogen phosphate is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry. It can be used to prepare sustained-release drugs, regulate the solubility of drugs, and act as a pH regulator of drugs.
