The service stress of the frame beam calculated based on static load is 25-50% higher than that of a car trailer. The types of tires used in agricultural trailers mainly for short distance transportation are the same as those used in cars, and the maximum load allowed is about 15% higher than that of cars according to standards. When the load capacity is large, parallel twin tires can be used. However, agricultural trailers mainly for field transportation are not suitable to use, to avoid mud jamming between the twin tires during field transportation, which increases resistance and makes steering difficult. Small diameter wide section low-pressure tires can be used to improve passability.

There are three types of dumping directions: lateral, backward, and lateral backward, with a general inclination angle of 45 °~55 °. There is also a method of raising the entire carriage before dumping it, which facilitates the transfer of materials to other vehicles. Small dump trailers can also be manually moved by mechanical means or pushed by hand pumps to tilt and unload the cargo.
    Folding grain truck
    A trailer specifically designed for transporting bulk grain. The bottom of the carriage is funnel-shaped, making it easy to unload grain. There are various ways to unload grain: some use hydraulic cylinders to open the gate of the funnel and unload grain by gravity, or use screw conveyors to unload grain from high places or add seeds to the seed box of the seeder. There are also ways to lift the carriage and dump the grain, and dump trailers can also be used to upgrade the carriage into a grain truck.

    Used for transporting feces. Large tank trucks use a fertilizer suction pump to suck feces into the tank.
