A looper flange is a flange loosely fitted to the edge of a container or pipe. The flange is a part connected between the shaft and the shaft, used for the connection between the end of the pipe; Also used in the equipment inlet and outlet flange, for the connection between two equipment.
Looper flange is loose flange. The flange can be made by flanging, direct pulling out or other welding rings. The advantage is that the flange deformation does not produce additional torque to the container or pipe, easy to manufacture, can be made of different materials with the container or pipe, easy to save precious metal. The disadvantage is that the flange thickness is larger. Suitable for containers or pipelines lined with brittle materials and low pressure occasions.
