APPLICATION:
This material is mainly used in aerospace, marine, food, nitrogen, paper and food industries for particularly loaded parts of pumps, the production of screws, nuts, parts of valves of installations, shafts, sleeves or spindles. The steel is a special grade used for the manufacture of aircraft parts.
SPECIFICATION:
In contrast to steels containing 13% of Chromium retains much better corrosion resistance due to the small amount of nickel addition and the increased content of chromium in the composition. It shows resistance to nitricacid, phosphoric acid, low concentrations of formic and acetic acids, sea water, and most nitrates.

Hardening at 950 - 1050 ºC with cooling in water or oil
Tempering at 750 - 800ºC with repeated tempering at a temperature of 650 - 700ºC
One-time tempering at a temperature of 620 - 720 ºC in the case when the concentration of Nickel in the chemical composition is in the low range |
