Audited Supplier The self-baking electrode uses anthracite, coke, asphalt and tar as raw materials to make electrode paste at a certain temperature, and then the electrode paste is loaded into the electrode shell that has been installed on the electric furnace. In the production process of the electric furnace, the joule heat generated by the current passing through the furnace and the heat transfer in the furnace are sintered and coked by themselves. The electrode can be used continuously, sintered while using, and can be fired into large diameter.
Self-baking electrodes are usually used in the production of ferrosilicon, silico-chromium alloy, silico-manganese alloy, high-carbon ferromanganese, medium and low carbon ferromanganese, high-carbon ferrochrome, medium and low carbon ferrochrome, silico-calcium alloy, tungsten iron and so on. The self-baking electrode is easy to carburize the alloy, and the electrode shell sheet is also easy to bring the alloy into iron, so the production of iron alloys and pure metals with very low carbon content, such as micro-carbon ferrochrome, industrial silicon, silicon aluminum alloy, metal manganese, etc., uses carbon electrodes or graphite electrodes.
