What is ozonated oil ?
Ozone oil, also known as ozonated oil, is composed of: ozone and unsaturated fatty acids. Among them, unsaturated fatty acids are divided into three categories: omega-9 series unsaturated fatty acids represented by oleic acid contained in camellia oil, omega-6 series unsaturated fatty acids represented by sulfinic acid contained in vegetable oil, and fish oil. The omega-3 series of unsaturated fatty acids represented by the 20-carbon 5-enoic acid (EPA) and the 22-carbon 6-enoic acid (DHA). Conventional ozone oil is based on olive oil, which is rich in 80% oleic acid (18:in=6). 1.0g of oil can absorb up to 160mg of ozone. Post-ozonation analysis Using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) chromatography to characterize the modification, a new carbon signal was found to be associated with the Criegee ozonide peak around 105 ppm. The complete disappearance of the alkene carbon signal at 130 ppm and the absence of carbonyl compounds and carboxylic acids was concluded by combining the resonance chromatography data, elemental analysis and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Long-term ozonation leads to the formation of special glycerol trimolecular ozone compounds, ozonated oils. Physical properties of ozone oil: The half-life of ozone oil at room temperature and pressure is about 3 years, which will be affected by the rise and fall of temperature. Below zero, the half-life can be extended to about 50 years. Above 270 degrees, the instant decomposition of ozone does not occur. re-exist.
Ozonated Oils (Ozone Oils)When the blood is ozonated, ozone reacts with all soluble antioxidants and poly unsaturated fatty acids and oxides them.[3] This mechanism suggested that some liquid oils may be used in treatment of various pathologies after ozonation. This treatment potential may be existed thanks to the presence of unsaturated double bonds of fatty acids in these liquid oils that would be ozonated. As a result of reactivity of ozone, ozone oxides these double bounds and one oxygen atom joins unsaturated double bounds. Ozonated oils are used in many diseases such as joint and skin pathologies especially.[1]

What benifit of ozonated oil ?
1. Broad-spectrum: ozone has a killing effect on various bacteria, fungi, viruses, molds, mycoplasma, chlamydia, trichomonas vaginalis and other pathogenic microorganisms. Ozone destroys the structure of the microbial membrane by oxidation to achieve bactericidal effect. First of all, it acts on the cell membrane, which damages the components of the membrane and destroys the lipoproteins and lipopolysaccharides in the membrane, changes the permeability of the cells, and causes the cells to dissolve and die, thereby playing the role of sterilization, disinfection and detoxification. 2. Rapidity: After ozone reaches a certain level (8-9.6mg per gram of ozone), it can kill pathogenic microorganisms in seconds to minutes, which is the fastest among the known disinfectants. 3. Safety: Ozone acute toxicity test shows that LD50>500mg/kg is non-toxic, and it is not irritating to skin, mucous membranes and eyes. Because healthy cells have a strong oxidative balance enzyme system, ozone is harmless and non-toxic to healthy cells, and the by-products of ozone killing pathogenic microorganisms are oxygen and gaseous water molecules. 4. Penetration: Due to the small molecular weight of O3, it has a strong penetrating effect on cell tissues, which can penetrate into the mucosa of 2mm and quickly penetrate into the inner wall of pathogenic microorganism cells. 5. No drug resistance: Due to the mechanism of action of ozone, the genetic material of pathogenic microorganisms is directly decomposed, resulting in irreversible death, which is different from ordinary antibiotics and antiviral ointments, so no drug resistance occurs. 6. Duality: The by-products of ozone killing pathogenic microorganisms are oxygen and gaseous water molecules, which can be absorbed by cells and tissues, accelerate blood circulation, and promote the healing of the affected skin.

The Science of Ozone
When most people think of ozone, they picture a thin layer of gas high above the earth's outermost atmosphere that protects us from the sun's ultraviolet rays. But this bluish gas, which sometimes is described as that "fresh smell" after a thunderstorm, has a variety of down-to earth uses.Ozone is a gas. And it's made of just one thing-oxygen.1. The principle of ozone sterilizationOzone (O3) is an allotrope of oxygen. It is a light blue gas with a special odor. Its molecular structure is triangular, with a bond angle of 116°, its density is 1.5 times that of oxygen, and its solubility in water is 10 times that of oxygen. Ozone is a strong oxidant, its redox potential in water is 2.07V, second only to fluorine (2.5V), its oxidation capacity is higher than that of chlorine (1.36V) and chlorine dioxide (1.5V), and it can destroy the decomposing bacteria. The cell wall quickly diffuses into the cell, oxidatively decomposes the glucose oxidase necessary for oxidizing glucose inside the bacteria, and can also directly interact with bacteria and viruses to destroy cells, RNA, and decompose DNA ( Polymers such as DNA, RNA, proteins, lipids, and polysaccharides destroy the metabolic and reproductive processes of bacteria. The killing of bacteria by ozone is caused by the disruption of the cell membrane. This process is called cell dissociation because the cytoplasm is comminuted in water and cells cannot be regenerated under dissipated conditions. It should be pointed out that, unlike hypochlorous acid disinfectants, the bactericidal ability of ozone is not affected by the change of pH value and ammonia, and its bactericidal capacity is 600-3000 times larger than that of chlorine. Its sterilization and disinfection effects occur almost instantaneously. When the ozone concentration is 0.3-2mg/L in water, bacteria can be killed within 0.5-1min. - Viruses Ozone has been shown to have a very strong killing effect on viruses. For example, at a concentration of 0.05-0.45 mg/L ozone, the Poloi virus loses its activity within 2 minutes.
- The cysts were completely removed at a concentration of 0.3 mg/L ozone for 2.4 minutes.
- Spores Due to the protection of the spore coat, it is 10-15 times more resistant to ozone than the growing bacteria.
- Fungi Candida albicans and penicillium can be killed.
- Parasites Schistosoma mansoni was killed after 3 min.
For more than a century, ozone has been used in Europe for purifying drinking water. Here in the United States, ozone is used for purifying bottled water and for decontaminating cooling towers. The City of Los Angeles currently uses ozone to purify its water supply. But ozone is not limited to drinking water. On June 23, 2001, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration officially granted GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status to ozone for use in food-contact applications. With full FDA approval in place, food processors immediately began putting this exciting new technology to use in their plants.Today, ozone technology is used in the processing of meat, poultry, seafood and fresh produce because it is recognized as the safest, most cost-effective and chemical-free way of dealing with food safety management. Knowledgeable food processors have identified the No. 1 benefit of using ozone-it extends the shelf life of their product-so important in the competitive world of today's international food industry.Ozone History? 1840 - Discovered by Schönbein? 1893 - Used as a disinfectant in drinking water? 1909 - Used as a food preservative for cold storage of meats? 1939 - Was found to prevent the growth of yeast & mold during the storage of fruits? 1982 - FDA GRAS declaration for ozone use in bottled water? 1995 - FDA GRAS for ozone use in bottled water renewed without change? 1997 - Industry Expert Panel declares ozone GRAS and meets FDA requirements. Regulators have the option to later add control on ozone use.? 1999 - USDA rejects an ozone use protocol for meats, cites 1982 GRAS declaration for water where FDA stated "any other use must be regulated by a Food Additive Petition."? 2000 - Food Additive Petition, that addresses both water and air use of ozone, under preparation. FDA estimates approval will occur within six months of submission of the Petition.
