Bee Feed Reproduction Nutritional Supplement

The paper "Study on the Effect of Feed Additive 'Fanfengling' on Honeybee Autumn Reproduction" was published in the 2022.06 issue of "Apiculture of China" magazine. Chairman Zhao Xiaowei gave a report on this paper at the Zhejiang Jiangshan China Bee Industry Expo in 2023 and won the "Outstanding Paper Award".

According to the paper, the experimental results prove that feeding "Fanfengling" during autumn breeding can increase the egg-laying rate of queen bees. At the end of the experiment, compared with the control group (without feeding Fanfengling), the number of bee eggs and pupae in the experimental group (fed with Fanfengling) was 24.07% higher; the net weight of bees was 50.6% higher; the pollen production was 13.92% higher; and the survival rate of overwintering bees was 31.57% higher.

 

Fanfengling Bee Reproduction Nutritional Supplement won the "Science and Technology Achievement Evaluation Certificate" issued by All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives in 2023. The evaluation results pointed out that Fanfengling "did promote the reproduction of bees, "improve the production capacity of bee colonies", and it is "safe and reliable, with strong palatability, no toxic side effects, easy to use and can increase revenue".
