Kamado History

It was originally called a Mushikamado', though its name was eventually shortened to "Kamado", which in Japanese literally means 'cooking range' or 'stove'. *PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL You can grill, smoke, roast and bake at exact temperature by easily adjusting the air flow systems. kamado has two air vents, one is on the bottom of the grill ( where the air enters the grill ), and the other is on the top (it is used tolet the air out). You have total control over temperature at your fingertips, maintaining accuracy within a few degrees! The high quality temperature gauge provides precise readings to 750ºF/400ºC. Many indoor ovens cannot match the accuracy of the EGG's temperature control!
