Honsun is jointly invested by Hunan Jianhongda Industrial Group and Hunan Linksun Silicon Material Technology Co., Ltd. In 2022 in Xiangyun County, Dali, with a registered capital of 50 million yuan. In August 2022, Hunan Huamin Holding Group Co., Ltd. Acquired 80% of the shares of Honsun, and Honsun became a subsidiary of Huamin Holding.

Honsun "Annual output of 20GW high-efficiency N-type mono silicon ingot and silicon wafer project" is located in Xiangyun County, Dali, Yunnan Province. It is equipped with the most advanced single crystal furnace, diamond wire slicer and automatic testing equipment. With the production capacity of 210 large size ultra-thin mono silicon wafers, the products can meet the needs of Topcon, HJT, IBC and other high-end solar cells; The first phase of the project 3.5GW has been officially fired and put into production on January 12, 2023. The second phase of the project, 16GW, will begin production in October 2023.
